Listening the music of Brooklyn indie label, Gentle Reminder, is like tuning into the best college radio station. This might not be a coincidence since label head Reese Higgins first cut his teeth in great music curation at his alma mater’s radio station, WMUC (University of Maryland, College Park). Originally from the D.C./Maryland area, Reese’s label has been responsible for releasing the work of two past Talk Music Talk guests, James Tillman and Will Moloney.
